Beacon Community Collective is a new nonprofit established to help the City of Beacon, N.Y., fundraise for and build out the community center it has long planned. We dream of a multi-use, walkable space designed to:

• Nurture belonging across generations, races, economic classes, and histories

   

• Provide year-round access to movement, fitness, wellness, arts, learning, and mutual aid, creating spaces for the community to connect

   

• Center the most isolated—including teens, seniors, working parents, and BIPOC families

   

• Create meeting points that don’t require payment, permission, or perfection

   

• Offer joy, safety, and repair in equal measure

Whether it’s a parent finding respite, a teen trying improv, or a senior sharing stories with a middle-schooler, a communal space holds the potential for everyday well-being. 

This is a vision many in Beacon have carried. Leaders, neighbors, families, and changemakers alike. We’re here to help make it happen as soon as possible.
